Teaching children is something I think is truly a gift. Being able to inspire young people to create something beautiful. I believe that the studio space should be an environment in which is a safe atmosphere for every student. I want to strive to create a space that is welcoming for students to express themselves as well as challenge the students to be open minded and take risks throughout class. I want the studio space to be accessible for every student to reach their goals. These goals will be reached by teaching students to enhance their critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as teaching them to create and express themselves independently to find their own voice. I want to teach students to want to learn more, to advocate for the arts, and to strive to be the best they can be. I want to encourage dancers to be strong and healthy and have self-love and kindness. Teaching starts from within and I want to be a teacher that is a role model and can educate students to be the best they can be.
