I was born and raised in Michigan. Currently, I have been attending Slippery Rock University (SRU) since 2016 and will graduate Spring 2020 with my Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. While attending SRU, I participated in the Rock Dance Company as well as Afro-Columbian Dance Ensemble. I was a member of National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) as the Philanthropy Chair and the Vice President as well as an active member in the Recreational Therapy Club. I have eighteen years of dance training that include, Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Afro-Columbian, and Musical Theatre. I also have four years of vocal lessons and two years of experience teaching modern dance. While at Slippery Rock, I have had the opportunity to work with many guest artists such as Matthew Shafer, Alisha Gerrity, Chitra Subramanian, Michelle de La Renza, etc. Through out my life I have had roles in musicals such as The Prince of Egypt, Mary Poppins, Babes in Arms, Seussical the Musical Jr, and a Christmas Carol. Because of my Recreational Therapy Major, I have also had the opportunity to implement dance interventions for older adults to work on gross motor and social skills.

After I graduate college, I would like to continue working in the dance field performing, teaching, and working as a dance therapist so dancers of all abilities can enjoy this beautiful art form.
